Sphero Roaming© is designed to support the current trend in employee working practices such as tele-working and working on the move by providing full network capability both on site and remotely. This increases productivity and supports maximum direct financial returns coupled with indirect but significant financial returns from increased turnover, productivity and efficiency.
Sphero Roaming© is a hybrid solution, overlaid on existing Sphero products such as Sphero Direct© or Sphero Hosted© and supports all the functionality delivered by these products. Combined with Sphero Multipoint© all calls between roamers and the multiple sites are free of charge.
Full security protocols are supported making secure remote access a reality.
How does it work?
The user simply connects a broadband voice adaptor into the broadband connection in their house or the broadband connection of the location that they are currently visiting or staying in. The broadband voice adaptor connects to the Sphero voice servers and allows the user to appear as an extension on their company's office actual or virtual PBX. The following diagram shows an example of the Roaming product.
