Sphero Secure© enables all your data to be constantly and safely backed up off site in line with good business practice and internal controls; this method of back-up is the preferred ISO system.
Sphero recognises that company data is a critical element of a company's operational capability as well as representing a large part of a company's financial valuation. This product is designed to safeguard your most precious asset.
How does it work?
If the user is always connected to the communications network, the back up is performed in the background at a predefined interval. If the user has been working without live connectivity the data will be backed up from the unit (desktop, laptop, handheld etc.) as soon as connectivity is restored.
What happens if my computer crashes?
If the user loses their computing unit or has a hard disk failure the data will be sent to a new unit. The data is not sent unencrypted to the unit; the data needs to be run through a client encryption system on the unit to restore the data to a usable format. The client data encryption is provided free of charge for such restores.
